This year’s accessory comeback award goes to, Dior saddle bag. In early 2000s Dior’s iconic Saddle bag was seen on the arms of every ‘It’ girl – like Carrie Bradshaw, Paris Hilton or Beyonce. I was also one of them who had two Dior saddle bags and just when I thought this trends will never come back anymore, Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled Dior’s latest AW18 collection at Paris Fashion Week and it was millennial gold. This It bag was initially introduced under John Galliano’s direction back in 1999 and it was quickly seen everywhere, but perhaps most notably, when Carrie Bradshaw wore it at Sex and the City on a number of occasions. Though most often done in Dior’s signature logo print, the It bag was offered in a wide array of styles, patterns and colors in its prime. Vintage styles of the Dior saddle bag have been quickly selling out on luxury resale sites like Vestiaire Collective for the past few months. I’ve always been a shoe girl but over the years, I am getting more obessed with bags. Just like shoes, a bag with personality will make every outfit more appealing.
