EYES WIDE SHUT – GOLDEN MASQUERADE

January 5, 2018

Since decades Vienna is known for its tradition of the elegant occasions celebrated in a uniquely romantic flair. Nowhere are balls so romantically formal as in Vienna and this tradition continues since decades. Glamorous floor length dresses are a must for these kind of special events and if you love dancing, you must choose the right ball gown. Honored to represent this year’s one of the most special events – I am so looking forward to the Golden Masquerade Ball, which will take place at Hilton Vienna Plaza on 2nd of February 2018.

GREEN DESERT

August 22, 2017

I am not afraid to take risks when it comes to color and style – my clothes are a form of my creative self-expression. Pleats – a trend that has always been a must-have. Who does not own at least one pleated garment? Nowadays in every woman’s wardrobe, the pleated dress, skirt or top has become a timeless piece. Thanks to the early 90s and the genius designer Issey Miyake that, with his pleats line, gave us the practicality to throw dresses, jackets and suits in our suitcase, without having to iron them afterwards.

ORGANZA

August 7, 2017

Hi, from sunny Vienna! I hope all of you are well and enjoying the strong rays of summer sun light and getting physically and mentally prepared for fall. I just got back home after a very relaxing weekend at Wörthersee, which is a lake in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia. A very popular bathing lake and a main tourist destination in summer, where all I did was swim, sun, read and relax. Continue Reading…

SUMMER HEAT

July 31, 2017
“A woman’s dress should be like a barbed-wire fence: serving its purpose without obstructing the view.” – Sophia Loren

I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start. For this post, I am wearing probably one of my favorite summer dresses ever, which is almost sold out everywhere, only few left here. I used to hate the color red when I was a child and a teenager, but apparently some tastes change and do get better as you get older and you grow out of habits, then you hit a plateau.

NICE CITY BREAK

June 17, 2016

one-day-in-nice-cote-d-azur-disi-couture-2016-02
I seem to be traveling non stop lately and everything looks like I’ve not been at home a lot. I almost has for one week at home or two weeks between next trips, but I’m not complaining and it is wonderful to have such a busy and intense life. I’m enjoying every second of this crazy busy period, and I’m already certain that my children will be tired of hearing my stories about the places I have visited, people I met and the things I’ve seen in my twenties and thirties. My motto is: “Take every chance you get and say yes to new opportunities!”

AZURE BLUE

January 13, 2016

“Your energy introduces you before you ever speak.”

Call it azure or royal blue, which is both evocative and dignified, provides more complexity and excitement than the average navy, while still remaining versatile. As soon as I saw this skirt, I wanted to have it immediately.

I AM READY

December 30, 2015

Cheers to the year ahead and another chance to get it right.

I can’t take New Year’s resolutions too seriously. For the upcoming year I have no resolutions, instead I will be objective and have S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely) goals.

So the first goal is not to spend too much on clothes, but choosing wisely and buying only if it matters. New Year’s Eve is already overrated, but your outfit shouldn’t be overpriced. However, we still plan our New Year’s Eve, what to do, where to go etc. This time, even though we know that New Year’s Eve is the overwhelming manifestation of exactly the kind of pressure, I decided to be with my parents and brother over a dinner cooked La Mama Chef and create memories I want to remember. But as an excuse to get dressed up, I am attending to “The Great Gatsby” party on Friday 01.01., which is organized by a group of friends (don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for all updates). The most important thing: my outfit is ready to hit the dance floor! 🙂

Let us embrace the coming year with a living hope for everyday life. 2016 I am ready for ya!

CRÈME BRÛLÉE

November 13, 2015

“Some of us are crèmes brûlées,  because we can just accept the fact that we were made for Paris!” – unknown 05-Tony-Gigov-Photography-Disi-Couture-Bik-Bok-Nude-Tones-Burggarten-Vienna

I named this post “Crème Brûlée” not just because of the outfit colors, but also because it reminds me of Paris. So lucky that Vienna has lots of stunning corners and squares that reminds me of Paris, and this season is, I think the most gorgeous Autumn season I can remember. Soon all the leaves will fall, and the nature will not look golden and colorful as it is know. But surely, every season has it’s own beauty! Continue Reading…
