Welcome back to my latest series, #WellnessWednesday in the new Wellness & Health category, where I highlight how I celebrate my personal self-care in everyday life. For today’s #WellnessWednesday post, I want to share my wellness routine and how my self-care routine looks like.
In our hectic everyday life, we are less and less able to treat ourselves to have a break and sometimes we forget what “Work-Life-Balance” means. Between lot of work and appointments, having a relaxing SPA day at home was never so easy since I got to know SENSAI products. In this post I want to share my favorite experience, how to get that SPA glow at home (and for half the price). Just switch off, down the stress level, and take your me time on the weekend or after work during the week. My home SPA program fits in perfectly for everyone for a break and have a “Me Time” all alone. Here I want to remind you, how important is to find such break and enormously important to find a balance to slow down.
After Jimbaran, Ubud and Seminyak, we decided to spend our last week in Nusa Dua. A peninsula in South Bali and well known as an enclave of high-end hotels and resorts. The beaches are glorious – sand, deep, long and clean. We made the right choice and choose Conrad Bali for our last days in Bali.
We hear lot of start-ups creating coffee scrub business, but why not creating your own homemade coconut & coffee scrub without spending lot of money. I am an ardent “spa aficionado”. In fact, my passion for this pampering treat was what inspired me to write my DIY masks post. One of the treatments in which I indulge myself for home spa is a body scrub. There are usually several different kinds of body scrubs to choose from, but my absolute favorite is the coconut coffee body scrub.
It seems like Marrakech photos are never going to end. Every time I started selecting and editing the photos, I had to think about many beautiful moments that Silia and I had during our eight days in Marrakech. I wore this dress for the dinner date at Royal Mansour‘s “La Grande Table Marocaine” and it was perfect for the location.

Based on the latest post about Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel, I was also invited to visit Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur, another of the hotel’s sister properties. Its magnificent views over the blue sea and the intoxicating scents of its manicured gardens gave me the real well-being.
Probably Europe’s most romantic hotel, has been already secured first place in the ranking of the most romantic hotels in Europe in January 2011, also awarded from TripAdvisor when they Travellers Choice Awards 2012 under 25 best hotels in France. The Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur, is a boutique hotel with unique charm, nestled in the seaside town of Théoule-sur-Mer, it’s a haven of peace and tranquility.
Overview
Embraced by the vibrant blue colored Mediterranean sea and dominated by the Esterel range, the Théoule-sur-Mer region is a land of contrasts. Sea and mountains nestle naturally. For those headed toward Cannes, Théoule-sur-Mer is the first commune in the Alpes Maritimes. A former fishing port, the charming maritime enclave is now home to no fewer than 4 yachting harbors. Locals are highly attentive to the quality of life in this still relatively unknown corner of paradise thus assuring a prestige destination. In this unspoiled setting, delicate pine-wood scents surround The Hotel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur.

The Superior Rooms offer cosy and spacious surroundings. Every guest experience a wonderful scenery in Côte d’Azur flair of refinement and total relaxation. Every room has a wonderful sea overview and these are unforgettable picturesque views that will always stay on your mind.
Food and Drink
We were able to spend a day at the Hôtel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur, to sunbath by the hotel’s infinity pool and to enjoy the 5-star “L’or Bleu Restaurant“. This restaurant is a true celebration of the Mediterranean sea and sky, stunning tastes with unique ingredients. We had an unforgettable dining experience hosted by Chef Guillaume Anor.
With a spectacular bay view on the most glamorous terraces, the gourmet restaurant at Hotel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur was an unforgettable night. For dinner I choose the starter “Shrimps in Cocktail Style, with fruit tartar, basil and spicy Guacamole”, companioned with the main dish “Loin of Lamb wrapped in Kadaif and baby purple artichokes” – my personal favorite, and cherry on the top the sweet note “Roasted apricot, rosemary flavored, crunchy tuile with apricots”. Everything was mind-blowing delicious and a wonderful dinner experience!
Beauty Center & Fitness
The Hotel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur, ensures the well-being of the guests. The hotel’s beauty center is a perfect place to relax with a personalized selection of massages. With signature Sothys body care treatments sooth the spirit. You can choose from manicure, to waxing or a make-up session to complete your personal care. The fitness center faces the bay yet is shielded from the terrace overlooking the hotel pool.

Not just the hotel’s location is quite spectacular, but it is the serenity that I found here and that was the greatest thing I experienced after coming from the big noisy city.
Located just below a garden of Eden, the hotel’s pool is the jewel in the crown of Hotel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur surroundings.
Those who follow me on Instagram, have already seen this photo, but I can’t help it and show it again because this Tiara Burger and the mix-fruit-salad was beyond delicious. Oh, and this view tho!
This was our dinner table with a spectacular view over the sea and the Esterel foothills which are located between Saint-Raphaël and Mandelieu.
After dinner, we enjoyed the full moon and the wonderful view from the Hotel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur pool terrace.

Résumé
The moment I entered Hotel Tiara Yaktsa, I knew it’s a special place. Greeted by blue skies and yacht-dotted seas, there’s an earthy Moroccan theme in harmony of wood furniture and terracotta tiles. Impressed by its gorgeous gardens, the elegant restaurant, and staff who welcomed us like a family. Clearly, the “L’or Bleu Restaurant” was the best restaurant I have ever been before. The taste of the food and the visual setting of every dish was just spectacular. You should choose to spend your days and nights at Tiara Yaktsa , that will everyday take your breath away.

Starting from the professional SPA treatment I had, it was defiantly a wonderful experience. The cosmetician checked my skin in ultraviolet light box first. Sometimes we need to see in oder to believe, so luckily, there was no proof of any damage. As I already knew my eye circles are dry and also some parts of my face, like around the mouth. But my facial skin is a mixture of dry and some oily parts, like the t-zone. However, after the UV light box, I had the treatment including scrub, serum and cream added on my skin. The results were brilliant and the cosmetician gave me tips to use these following products:
1) SkinCeuticals Metacell Renewal B3: the newest SC product, launched recently and will be available from September. This lightweight gel-lotion formula would have been an option for any skin type to help treat signs of aging in skin. Metacell Renewal B3 utilizes a patent-pending inverse aqueous emulsion to deliver a high concentration of 5% niacinamide combined with 2.5% tightening tri-peptide concentrate and 15% glycerin improve the look of early photoaging. While signs of photoaging appear at different intensities according to skin biology, lifestyle, geography, sun protection behavior, and skincare regimen, they have a multiplicative effect, creating a prematurely-aged appearance. Metacell Renewal B3 is a comprehensive daily corrective moisturizer that visibly corrects the appearance of early photoaging to re-clarify skin, reduce wrinkles, re-tighten surface elasticity, and even skin tone.

Provides advanced environmental protection against damaging free radicals. Increases firmness and replenishes lipids to visibly reduce wrinkles. Once absorbed, this serum can’t be washed or rubbed off. It remains effective for a minimum of 72 hours, making it an excellent step in your skincare routine. Where the power of nature meets the tradition: A splendidly beautiful village, with magnificent chalets, alm huts (cabins), hunter and honeymoon chalets of the Almdorf Seinerzeit
After a magnificent weekend at the Kempinski Grand Hôtel des Bains in St. Moritz, together with Sonja and Maria – I was invited to the most beautiful village of the Almdorf Seinerzeit, to stay in a romantic chalet for a couple of days.
Almdorf Seinerzeit, is located in Carinthia (ger. Kärnten) at the southernmost Austrian state, situated within the Eastern Alps. Our journey by car started from St. Moritz, than we took the highway Munich, Salzburg and Villach – direction to Bad Kleinkirchheim. We arrived in the evening and greeted by brilliant village hosts, who prepared everything for us. I was stunned by the high-class hotel service, the amazing view, also how the inner peace expatiated to my body and soul, something that lately I was searching for.
I grew up in the city, where the traffic, loud noises and busy people who most likely won’t say “hi” to you if they’re in a rush. Spending my life in the capital of Austria – where my comfort zone is, however sometimes I miss going out of the city and just spend some days in a valley or mountains. This place gave me the feeling to realize, how calming and relaxing a alpine village can be, where I could open my mind for new ideas and to be grateful for important things in my life.
All mountain chalets of Almdorf Seinerzeit, have been traditionally constructed with natural materials, by specialists who still know the old craft. Natural sheep wool is used for insulation and roofs are made in “nail shingle” style. Gutters and hooks are made from naturally shaped trees and the “fried” (wound) fence rings are made with branches of pine trees.
One of the most wonderful things in Almdorf Seinerzeit is, that the village hosts serve the breakfast at the desired time in your own chalet. They also bring a daily newspaper and the polished hiking boots. Dinner can be also served according to personal orders, and the smell of delicious food in the chalet takes care of the rest.
All twenty-one chalets are perfect for family or romantic couple vacations, a very comfortable living space on two floors. The chalets have a kitchen-living room, a parlor, two bathrooms with toilet, one with a shower and the other with a wooden bathtub. As well as two bedrooms upstairs, a balcony overlooking the valley, a terrace and a beautiful garden.
Outside there were hundreds of paraffin lamps, which gently brighten the small village.
The village hosts take care of every chalet to keep them clean and warm, so when the guests return from a trip or any activities, they will find their chalet in the best conditions and fire crackling in the fireplace.

Everyday our breakfast was served and prepared by the village hosts at 10:00 am, with delicious organic alpine food.
Delicious home-made organic panna cotta, muesli, fruit salad and granola for the breakfast.

Almdorf Seinerzeit use only high quality products with all-natural ingredients, like from the Feuerstein Essentials made in Switzerland.
