The Yucatán Peninsula is more than a white-sand-beach exotic destination. This area has so much to offer, such as the unique and vibrant city Mérida. When I planned to visit Mexico, I definitely wanted to make a short trip to Mérida, which is the capital and largest city in Yucatan state in Mexico. Though it’s called “The White City” (named after its limestone buildings), Mérida has the kindest people, eye-catching colonial architecture, a unique heritage, charming museums, art galleries, great traditional Mexican food and many more.
One more adventure checked off my “Bucket List”. For me travelling rhymes with happiness and exploring new destinations makes my heart beat faster. That’s why my travel posts are special to me, because I love sharing my experience with you.
I am starting this year with a long waited travel blogpost that I’ve announced on Instagram in October, and I can’t believe how time has gone by so quickly. For a very long time I have dreamt of going to Mexico, stretching out on a white sandy beach, eating guacamole and tacos all day long. Indeed, it was the first time I have visited Mexico and now I am very excited to tell you everything about this trip.
