The ‘Queen of the Caribbean Coast’— Cartagena is one of the most beautiful cities in South America. A colorful, vibrant city— this gem combines well-preserved colonial architecture with plenty of cultural charm. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the symbol of the city are its Palenquera fruit sellers, who skillfully balance bowls of tropical fruits on their heads. Furthermore, Cartagena’s Caribbean beaches cater for even the most discerning sunseekers.
Colombia might sound intimidating for many, but Cartagena is not the reality of Colombia. This gorgeous walled city has turned into a traveler’s hotspot for a good reason.
Make sure to include Cartagena on your next trip to Colombia, here is why?
Listed on the 48th place in the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants— NUEMA was born as a culinary project of chefs Alejandro Chamorro and Pía Salazar with the purpose of expressing in their proposal the biodiversity of Ecuador under a contemporary and avant-garde perspective.

The Ecuadorian capital city located in the middle of the world, standing proud between cloud-high in the Andes and two active volcanoes, Quito didn’t disappoint me. The 16th-century Centro Histórico (Old Town) is not only the largest and best-preserved colonial center in Latin America, but also the most visited.
Thanks to KLM and Air France, the approx. 15-hour journey from Vienna to Quito was a wonderful experience. Click HERE to read about my journey.
Breathtaking churches, impressive monasteries, colorful palaces, here is why Quito should be on your 2022 travel list.
Still looking for the best winter coat to buy this season? From modern silhouettes and eye-catching patters to leathers and faux furs, this winter season is coming with lot of wonderful new pieces balanced with timeless and pieces.
If you visit the Greek island, Crete– a day trip to Rethymno (or Rethymnon) is a must. It’s one of the best preserved medieval towns in Greece and was once a bastion of the Venetians who left a mighty legacy– the large Fortezza (fortress).
The town was also ruled by Turks for a time so you’ll find a scattering of Ottoman mosques, a Hamam peeping from behind 16th century buildings.
You can choose visiting Rethymno for a relax day on the nearby beaches, or explore the historic center and enjoy the hidden cafes in cute cobblestone streets.
While wide-leg pants are nothing new, they’re still coming back every season in different styles and fabrics. Finding the perfect wide-leg pants that provide versatile styling options, and doesn’t require any effort in the morning. For the FW21 runaway shows designers presented different styles, cuts, colors, and lengths of effortlessly chic wide-leg pants. From really relaxed silhouettes and long hemlines, you can pair the different pieces even with a simple white top and still look stylish.
Here I am wearing my favourite wide-leg pants by NEHERA, and I love pairing them with a simple top, to crochet tanks and crop tops to matching blazers and bold accessories. I find it perfect to wear from the office to Saturdays spent at the museum and beyond. Here are few styling notes:
Fall brings cooler weather and depending on the location, some places have more humidity or dry cold weather, which causes dry skin. Since I live mostly in Vienna, in October weather significantly drops and it becomes windier in fall and winter. Therefore, my skincare routine changes, so I love to apply layers of serums and moisturizers to keep my skin more hydrated.
Finally it slowly feels like we are getting back to normal. Today, I am extremely excited to re-start the fashion category on my blog with a new exclusive brand— NEHERA.
NEHERA is an independent Slovak brand that is reviving the legacy of the famous brand that was founded in the 1930s and made history by impeccable design, quality, manufacturing and retail around the world. The craft tradition of the Slovak textile industry goes back to the first clothing factory, which was founded on the European mainland in Prostejov, the hometown of Jan Nehera, in 1868.
September is when we slowly start to say goodbye to summer days and welcome the beautiful golden season of fall. When everyone is going back to school and work, for me this month starts with a lot of work appointments, events, new projects and new travel destinations. On September 2nd, The Fragrance Foundation Austria honoured me to be one of the expert jury members of this year’s DUFTSTARS 2021.
Outstanding perfume creations were awarded at the DUFTSTARS Gala 2021, with the highest award in the perfume and cosmetics industry.
