Today is the first blank page of a 365-pages book, and I am starting it with a big recap. It is a nice way to look back on the past year – not of the pain I felt, but the strength I gained, all the experiences, the growth, achievements, reminiscing beautiful moments, places I went, people I met, acknowledge the difficulties, challenges, struggles, appreciate how far I’ve come and understand how they have helped me to grow the strength and wisdom that brought throughout this journey. You can also take a minute to write down everything, and you will realize where you have come.
Happy Monday everyone! It’s already September – crazy how time flies and fashion week kicks off end of this week, so get ready for a sea of changes. I am so excited to be in New York for the fashion week and also to enjoy some quality time with my friends and relatives. Not just NYC, but I’ll be heading to Miami for few days as well, and I cannot wait to share the new adventures in upcoming weeks with you.
I’ve been obsessed with off-shoulder tops and dresses ever since I was a child. I remember the times of Beverly Hills 9020 serial and admiring Kelly’s and Brenda’s style, while I was just 7 y/o. The show’s soap-style drama was as amazing as its wardrobe — full of trendy, grungy, ridiculous fashions that every 1990’s teen coveted like crazy.
Tweed is not just for coats or blazers, one of my favorite fabric looks fabulous in a dress too. Personally, I’m loving this spring season’s figure flattering dress for it’s chic ease wearability. It’s almost my favorite new little white dress, because it’s accessorized with big pearls.
It seems like Marrakech photos are never going to end. Every time I started selecting and editing the photos, I had to think about many beautiful moments that Silia and I had during our eight days in Marrakech. I wore this dress for the dinner date at Royal Mansour‘s “La Grande Table Marocaine” and it was perfect for the location.
