Moving into a new home is always an exciting adventure, and I was thrilled when I moved from Vienna’s 9th district to the 18th district last year in June. One of the best things about moving was the opportunity to redecorate my new home.

I opted to decorate my home using all-natural colors such as beige, brown, black and gold accents. These colors brought a sense of warmth and coziness to the space. It was important for me to create a home that felt welcoming while maintaining a stylish and modern appeal.

This month marks the one year anniversary of moving into my new apartment. My goal was to make my home as comfortable and attractive as possible and then get on with living. Decorating properly, especially the walls, always takes time, because you want to see how every piece at your home matches the vibe of the interior colors and materials. Waking up every morning to a beautifully decorated interior, one that represents your passions, interests and personality, is the best feeling on Earth.

Recently the international art consultancy and gallery network of art consultants, advisors and curators VELVENOIR collaborated with steininger.designers for ART X INTERIOR, an exclusive event at Steininger’s showroom in Vienna that presents the best experience on contemporary art and design and brought art lovers, designers, architects, art collectors together to experience a unique presentation.
The installation entailed a curated selection of fine art paintings, photography, exclusive kitchen and sculptures. I am happy to announce my collaboration with VELVENOIR that implements the highest quality of service and providing unique artwork to build and elevate a beautiful space.

Take the keyword from the fashion world and give the timeless chic of black and white into your home. The monochrome look can range from minimalist chic to wild animal prints.

This is not the first time, I blog about minimal and monochrome interior decoration, and it won’t be the last. A black-and-white themed room always has more impact when you add a third accent color, whether this is grey, yellow, gold or aqua blue. For example you can also add definition to an off-white scheme by using black as an accent color — incorporate a luxe black velvet sofa or grey armchair to your room design.
