I seem to be traveling non stop lately and everything looks like I’ve not been at home a lot. I almost has for one week at home or two weeks between next trips, but I’m not complaining and it is wonderful to have such a busy and intense life. I’m enjoying every second of this crazy busy period, and I’m already certain that my children will be tired of hearing my stories about the places I have visited, people I met and the things I’ve seen in my twenties and thirties. My motto is: “Take every chance you get and say yes to new opportunities!”
First of all, I want to say sorry for taking so long to post a new article on my blog, but I guess I needed a little break after a very busy month and editing tons of photos. However, I am very happy to have a lot to share and this is going to be my last photography diary from Mykonos. I hope I will get to visit this stunning island again and again. Continue Reading…
Summer is just around the corner, but for me it has already begun in Mykonos last week. Now that the weather in Europe is bitchy and I keep complaining all the time, but after a relatively warm April, going back to wearing jackets and jeans in May feels a bit strange!
Cheers to the year ahead and another chance to get it right.
I can’t take New Year’s resolutions too seriously. For the upcoming year I have no resolutions, instead I will be objective and have S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely) goals.
So the first goal is not to spend too much on clothes, but choosing wisely and buying only if it matters. New Year’s Eve is already overrated, but your outfit shouldn’t be overpriced. However, we still plan our New Year’s Eve, what to do, where to go etc. This time, even though we know that New Year’s Eve is the overwhelming manifestation of exactly the kind of pressure, I decided to be with my parents and brother over a dinner cooked La Mama Chef and create memories I want to remember. But as an excuse to get dressed up, I am attending to “The Great Gatsby” party on Friday 01.01., which is organized by a group of friends (don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for all updates). The most important thing: my outfit is ready to hit the dance floor! 🙂
Let us embrace the coming year with a living hope for everyday life. 2016 I am ready for ya!
Black is not a color, is a state of mind!
Never think about wearing to much of black. Why? Because it’s chic and sexy, makes you look thin, and you can wear it anywhere. You know those people who look back at their life, reliving memories and can’t help but think, “What the hell I was wearing?”. When it comes to black, you’re never going to have regrets — I can guarantee that.
It’s not easy in 30-degree weather to pull off a chic ensemble, and that’s why true fashion comes out in the coldest of temperatures because it’s really not that hard to pull off layering and different materials. Anything that comes in any other color will always look better in black, so why even bothering trying something else? 🙂 Continue Reading…
The color violet is so bursting with love, the need for connection, the showing of the need for connection around the world.
This season there is a move toward the cooler and softer side of the color spectrum. Lilac, lavender and cold mauve tones temper their sweetness with a hint of icy elegance. It is for sure the color of luxury and passion, of princely robes and magnificent gems.
Therefore I choose to wear slightly antiquated curtsy this beautiful A-line dress from Eli’s Boutique. Whatever’s in the air, the pre-fall shows have churned out dress after dress with a nipped waist and a free-flowing skirt reminiscent of Dior’s seminal New Look collection.
I paired this look with a old leather jacket and combined it with my favorite accessories, including statement earrings.
“I remember it as October days are always remembered, cloudless, maple-flavored, the air gold and so clean it quivers.” ― Leif Enger, Peace Like a River
Bittersweet October. The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter. Autumn is, without a doubt, my favorite time of year and I am so grateful that I live in the part of the world, where we have this magical season.
The season bursts with beauty, the spectacular scenery everywhere. You cannot hide your true colors as you enter the autumn of your life where dressing up, layering and color combination makes so much fun. Together with my favorite photographer Tony Gigov we shoot this easy chic fall outfit at one of my favorite spot in Vienna. Remember the Before Sunrise movie by Richard Linklater? Continue Reading…
