THE MUST-HAVE WINTER COATS

As winter rolls in, once again we have to wrap up in a coat. The first big buy of the season is a good and warm coat. However when shopping for a winter coat is essential to keep your lifestyle and location in mind. But which trend will you choose? Are you looking for a wool or faux fur coat? Something stylish to keep you warm from home to the office? A full-on puffer for minus temperatures? From high end to high street, puffer to tweed, there are many choices this season for those looking to upgrade the look.
Here are some of my top picks to stay cozy — whether in the city or in the countryside.

ALL EYES ON KNIT

Knitwear is the champion of this seasons apparel. From cashmere to wool, simple to pattern knitwear, oversized to crop sweaters, this season you can find knitwear in every kind of shape and style. I am into all kind of knitwear, but mostly I love fine cashmere knits that gently rest on the body. They fit so perfectly, like a hug, especially the all over knitwear in crispy fall days.

BROWN IS THE NEW BLACK – THE POWER SUIT

For some empowering Working Girl vibes, the power suit is back and with full commitment for this season. From caramel to chocolate, all you need to do is find the right shade for you, or go tone-on-tone in a top-to-toe effect. Either one or block colors, strait or wide leg, well-tailored pants teamed with coordinating blazers have been seen on Fall/Winter 2018-2019 runaway shows. With fall fashion officially underway, there are plenty of new trends and styles to try now. The right trouser suit will make you feel better and stronger, and you should know it the second you put it on.
It should make you look taller, thinner, pulled together, and it should be your best look and feel safe to go for afterwork dinner and drinks. If you are going to stick to one new look this season, make it the pantsuit! Keep it sophisticated with stylish accessories: a simple black top, paired with elegant pumps, and gold jewelry. If you want a different look, then you can pair the blazer with jeans too.

5 MUST-HAVE JEANS TO ROCK THIS FALL

If you’d asked me a year ago if I would ever stop wearing skinny or cropped jeans, I would probably say no! End of August I cleaned out my closet, and I am happy that many of my old jeans (cropped, skinny, destroyed, acid-washed, culotte-denim and Mom-jeans) are out.
From high fashion to high street, we all know that high-rise, vintage-inspired mom, non-stretch jeans are everywhere right now. They’ll probably not go out of style any soon, but lately I am wearing something totally different: relaxed, full-length jeans in straight silhouettes and ankle-length flares. A soft, high-rise option with a straight leg you can roll up on casual days even for work.

Here are the five must have jeans to rock this fall season:

THE SADDLE BAG IS BACK

This year’s accessory comeback award goes to, Dior saddle bag. In early 2000s Dior’s iconic Saddle bag was seen on the arms of every ‘It’ girl – like Carrie Bradshaw, Paris Hilton or Beyonce. I was also one of them who had two Dior saddle bags and just when I thought this trends will never come back anymore, Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled Dior’s latest AW18 collection at Paris Fashion Week and it was millennial gold.

UNDER THE PALM TREES

Welcome to my garden state of mind with today’s lush, colorful look for day and night. The ’90s was a time of high-top sneakers, velvet chokers, and loads of denim. While we wouldn’t like to revisit some of the trends (ahhh, the acid wash!), there’s plenty that we’re glad to see making a comeback this year and one of them are the floral print cami (slip) dresses.

ORGANZA

Hi, from sunny Vienna! I hope all of you are well and enjoying the strong rays of summer sun light and getting physically and mentally prepared for fall. I just got back home after a very relaxing weekend at Wörthersee, which is a lake in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia. A very popular bathing lake and a main tourist destination in summer, where all I did was swim, sun, read and relax.
