As you may have read the previous posts about my weekend in Chantilly, I showed you the “Turf” exhibition, the Longines “Garden Party” at the Château de Chantilly and the Prix de Diane Longines 2015, now these are the images I shoot with the talented and great photographer Chrisitan Mamoun. This shooting took place at the Hotel Tiara Château Mont Royal’s garden, which is a perfect location for shootings and especially with this kind of elegant outfit. Finding the perfect outfit that meets the requirements of “formal daywear” in a season of crop tops and raised hemlines isn’t an easy task. I have been following Ascot style inspirations, how to find the perfect and – most importantly – appropriate pieces for the day at the races.

The Prix De Diane Longines, with thousands of spectators, nine races, the Ambassador of Elegance Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and one king of the Prix De Diane Longines

After two beautiful days in Chantilly filled with beautiful events, on Sunday 14 June, nine flat races including Prix de Diane Longines, the world’s top race for fillies, took place in the Chantilly racecourse and gathered more than 45.000 spectators. Lanfranco Dettori on Star of Seville finished first at the much awaited Prix de Diane Longines. This exceptional race, renowned as the epitome of feminine elegance, was exceptionally enhanced by Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She presented the “Mademoiselle Diane par Longines” award for elegance during the afternoon to the most stylish woman of the day, Sandra Challal.

Longines celebrated the new DolceVita Collection in the spotlight during a Garden Party of the Château de Chantilly, with the brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai and invited guests

The day after “TURF” exhibition opening, on Saturday morning I had the chance to shoot some photos with Chrisitan Mamoun at the Hotel Tiara Château Mont Royal’s garden, for which I can barely wait to show you all images very soon. After we had finished the shooting, I had lunch together with two brilliant Austrian editors and the lovely Longines PR lady. Then we had just one hour break to get ready for the exclusive interview with the Longines brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Auberge Du Jeude Paume Chantilly.

A très chic weekend with horses, race course, luxury and Aishwarya Rai. One of my best weekend of the first half of 2015, that took place during the weekend of 12-14 June in Chantilly

Mostly good things happen, when you don’t expect them. So it was, when I got invited from Longines to attend the Prix De Diane 2015 in Chantilly. I always wanted to see horse races live and thank to Longines, my wish came true. Getting ready for the elegant weekend, what to wear and how to look in many events – was another part of the excitement.

Our journey started on Friday 12th of June, from Vienna to Paris and than we were picked up from the airport to Chantilly, which is a commune in the Oise department in the valley of the Nonette in the Picardy region of northern France. Surrounded by Chantilly Forest, the town of 11,000 inhabitants, lies 38.4 km north-northeast from the centre of Paris.
