Cuenca, is one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Ecuador, located in the highlands of Ecuador at about 2,560 m above sea level. This gem is surrounded by the Andes mountains, divided by the river Tomebamba next to the city center. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its many historical buildings and its historical importance as an agricultural and administrative center of Ecuador.
The city that never sleeps, has definitely the best rooftop views. If you are planning to visit New York City and don’t know where to go for the best cocktails, appetizer and views. Here are my top favorite rooftop bars in NYC:
One of my favorite rooftop bar in NYC, has a beautiful open air rooftop space with outstanding views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. Open seasonally, the lounge poolside with NYC skyline views and handcrafted cocktails from the rooftop bar, then you can cool off with a dip in plunge pool (open seasonally). Go for afternoon cocktails and bites, to enjoy the best view over the Brooklyn Bridge. Try the Poolside cocktail, with a delicious watermelon taste or my favorite Heatstroke cocktail. For food, I suggest the Black Bean Burger and Tuna Poke.
Probably the most exclusive rooftop bar in NYC, on the 65th floor of 30 Rock. Located on the west end of the 65th floor, adjacent to the Rainbow Room, Bar SixtyFive at Rainbow Room hast the highest outdoor terrace bar in New York City. In a very classy space, you can have curated cocktails, also wonderful Sunday brunch. Excellent food and desserts, as well as a award-winning brunch cocktails, is worth to experience it once.
Last but not least, today I want to tell you everything about Bali and my personal favorite places where to stay, eat, shop as well as what to see and do in this beautiful tropical paradise. Some say this island is overrated, a paradise that has lost its way and getting dirtier every year. But really it has just devopleped transforming from a low-key hippie haven to a enormous soulful place, where you can stay smart but still find a barefoot vibe.
In the center of the island is where you find the nightlife. The island provides a super positive vibe, when the international crowd gathers together in the night. In old town you can find lots of great restaurants, high-end shopping and trendy-cool bars. My very first visit to Mykonos was a great fun and getting lost in the twisting-turning alleyways was fun too.
