Today I want to answer one of the most frequent questions I receive about apps I use to edit my pictures, stories and videos. Yes, 90% of my social media content is created with DSLR camera, except Instagram Stories which I shoot or film with my phone. Even though phones nowadays capture quality images, but there is nothing like a DSLR cameras. You can manually change and adjust the light, the shadow and the focus better. Which makes it look more professional when you edit them. However, if you don’t own a DSLR camera, you can use the portrait mode, focus, 4K video quality and use the right editing apps.
So what’s on my creative app list, when it comes to editing phone shots? Here are my 7 go-to’s below:
A question I get asked often “How can you stay motivated to wake-up early, workout, be in the office, go to appointments, attend events, travel, do this and do that?” My answer is, it’s only a mindset and a strong willpower.
Starting my day at 6 AM with warm lemon water, prepare a healthy breakfast and create a to-to list for the day, doesn’t always happen naturally. I do have “grey” days, when everything seems impossible, overwhelming, and difficult to have strong willpower to motivate myself and be productive.
In the beginning of the 2016 I was almost experiencing a burnout, which made me very unhappy from the inside. I used to attend every event, meeting people everyday, working non-stop, traveling a lot, going to the fashion weeks etc. I became literally like a robot, and everything became very static. I came to realize that nothing can make me happy, if I don’t fix my inside first. Slowly, I learned to say ‘NO’ and instead of events or meetings, I started to take care of myself and do more grounded things. As I no longer have FOMO “Fear Of Missing Out”, I am much happier and content with the person I am today. Therefore I want to share few tips, how you can also practice the art of JOMO:
This is probably the most vulnerable and personal article I am sharing with you today. Have you ever heard about anxiety and do you know how it feels? It happens suddenly, and you feel a period of excessive worry. You start worrying about everything, even about the things you have to do. You worry about your responsibilities at work, and all the obligations you have in your personal life. Then the constant aching feeling that you are not doing enough disturbs you, and so the blockage of letting go of the fear becomes very difficult.
Have you ever heard about hyperhidrosis? Today I want to explain my story. Excessive underarm sweating always affected my life, until I decided to microwave my underarms two years ago. I grew up in South East Europe, more precisely in Kosovo, where temperatures would reach 45 degrees from June to September. I always felt embarrassed to wear something colorful that showed the wet marks under my arms. Sometimes even in the coldest days of winter in Vienna, I’d have wet marks under my arms due to stress or being nervous.
If you’re in the “industry” and benefited a lot from Instagram for your business, what would happen if this platform suddenly disappeared? What would become of all your hard work and countless hours you invested in it? If Instagram vanishes, then the same will happen to Facebook as well. Think about it!
Today is the first blank page of a 365-pages book, and I am starting it with a big recap. It is a nice way to look back on the past year – not of the pain I felt, but the strength I gained, all the experiences, the growth, achievements, reminiscing beautiful moments, places I went, people I met, acknowledge the difficulties, challenges, struggles, appreciate how far I’ve come and understand how they have helped me to grow the strength and wisdom that brought throughout this journey. You can also take a minute to write down everything, and you will realize where you have come.
Lately I have been thinking to write more personal articles and especially to answer the frequent questions I get about blogging. As you may know, I started blogging in September 2010. Seven years back, when websites were the main platforms where bloggers shared their outfits, beauty, travel, lifestyle posts and everything seemed much easier. We didn’t had Instagram or Snapchat, so our subscribers were the real followers we had.

Now that this week almost ended, I will take little time to describe my first March day. As you already know, on 1st of March the Madonna Blogger Awards 2016 took place at Semperdepot. The hostess of the gala evening was the Madonna editor Jenny Fellner and celebrated the night amongst all digital stars and online influencers. A number of national and international guests graced the event, such as the Youtube star Sami Slimani, blogger and street-style photographer Yvan Rodic from Face Hunter, presenter Jan Koeppen and many more.
