Staying healthy during winter is hard; many of us get lazier, exercise a little less, feel more tied, crave more sugar as well as heavy food. Although soups and stews can provide us with lots vitamins, but they are not enough.
Winter can be harsh, and it’s important to take some preventative measures to maintain your health during cold and dark seasons. It’s essential to eat healthy, and get plenty of rest during fall and winter. Additionally, with the help of the right supplements you can survive the cold months.
Here are five excellent supplements that keep me at my best during winter:
I love winter, but my skin and hair disagrees. The cold weather in the combination of the dry heat we have in our houses and office, necessarily leads to dehydrate our hair and skin.
Trichologists say that a hormonal imbalance can lead to numerous of inner and outer issues, from adult acne to weight gain. Last week I’ve visited Maldives for the first time, and Soneva Fushi – made all my luxury eco-resort dreams come true. For me luxury means time, peace, emotion and freedom. Luxury is about feeling the sand on your feet surrounded by beauty and extreme tranquility, dine under the moonlight with the ocean breeze. Luxury is about connecting with nature and to reconnect with yourself. Swimming in clear turquoise water, and to eat organic fresh food. All these luxuries can be found at Soneva Fushi, where you can experience the real lush eco-resort in a rare tropical paradise hideaway.
In the beginning of the 2016 I was almost experiencing a burnout, which made me very unhappy from the inside. I used to attend every event, meeting people everyday, working non-stop, traveling a lot, going to the fashion weeks etc. I became literally like a robot, and everything became very static. I came to realize that nothing can make me happy, if I don’t fix my inside first. Slowly, I learned to say ‘NO’ and instead of events or meetings, I started to take care of myself and do more grounded things. As I no longer have FOMO “Fear Of Missing Out”, I am much happier and content with the person I am today. Therefore I want to share few tips, how you can also practice the art of JOMO:
As much as I love to talk about fashion and cosmetic industry, there is nothing more I care about than our planet we live in. We need to protect the ocean that gives us the oxygen to breathe, that regulates the climate and brings us clean water to drink. There is ONLY one ocean that covers our planet we live in.
A 2014 study estimated that 8 million metric tons of plastic trashenter the sea from land every year. 90% of the plastic is not recycled and this creates a major problem. Why? Because plastics are synthetic chemicals that should not exist in our planet. Most plastics are not biodegradable (meaning the bacteria cannot break them down into harmless components the way it happens to the paper or wood). The worse happens when plastic ages; the sun’s light and heat break the plastic into smaller and smaller pieces. This tiny plastic confetti, along with larger pieces of floating plastic, creates a dangerous problem to our health and our planet .
In 1957, the first Breitling Superocean models were launched, and it was clearly a major new player in the diver’s watch market. While Breitling is usually associated with aviation, the dive watches are among the bestsellers that extend a legacy of more than six decades.
Have you ever heard about hyperhidrosis? Today I want to explain my story. Excessive underarm sweating always affected my life, until I decided to microwave my underarms two years ago. I grew up in South East Europe, more precisely in Kosovo, where temperatures would reach 45 degrees from June to September. I always felt embarrassed to wear something colorful that showed the wet marks under my arms. Sometimes even in the coldest days of winter in Vienna, I’d have wet marks under my arms due to stress or being nervous.
Trends come and go, but a great watch never goes out of style. Breitlingwatches are the very definition of an investment piece. Once you meet your perfect match you’ll wear it every day, making it the ultimate investment piece.
With a history spanning over 100 years – Breitling has established a global reputation for high-precision timepieces, its pioneering role in the development of the wrist chronograph, and its uncompromising commitment to design excellence, made in Switzerland.
Despite in today’s modern world, smartphone has become our daily time-teller, and the omnipresence of synchronized, digital devices suggests that the wristwatch is no longer a necessity. Personally, I still find a well-designed watch never looks outdated. In fact, some of the best can last an entire lifetime and even be passed from one generation to the next.
My first relationship with watches was fuelled by a classic silver timepiece combined with stainless steel with white dial, gifted by my parents for my sixteenth birthday. That timepiece became a part of me, and I loved wearing it everyday. So my love affair with timepieces can be considered very sacred, and by getting older, you realize that time is very precious. Almost all luxury watches can be described as wearable art, because most of them have a interesting history attached. Continue Reading…
