Do you have a safe in your home? If yes, better think twice, if your home safe is safer than having an external one. Here is why?
Considering the high frequency of home burglaries— where one in every six homes is targeted every year, just as it happened to me this year, it’s a good idea to have an external safe to protect items— such as jewelry, cash, collectibles, and important documents.
Mesmerizing beauty, laid-back luxury, rustic brilliance, superlative privacy and a slow life attitude: Soneva Fushi makes all your luxury eco-resort dreams come true.
Last week I’ve visited Maldives for the first time, and Soneva Fushi – made all my luxury eco-resort dreams come true. For me luxury means time, peace, emotion and freedom. Luxury is about feeling the sand on your feet surrounded by beauty and extreme tranquility, dine under the moonlight with the ocean breeze. Luxury is about connecting with nature and to reconnect with yourself. Swimming in clear turquoise water, and to eat organic fresh food. All these luxuries can be found at Soneva Fushi, where you can experience the real lush eco-resort in a rare tropical paradise hideaway.
As much as I love to talk about fashion and cosmetic industry, there is nothing more I care about than our planet we live in. We need to protect the ocean that gives us the oxygen to breathe, that regulates the climate and brings us clean water to drink. There is ONLY one ocean that covers our planet we live in.
A 2014 study estimated that 8 million metric tons of plastic trashenter the sea from land every year. 90% of the plastic is not recycled and this creates a major problem. Why? Because plastics are synthetic chemicals that should not exist in our planet. Most plastics are not biodegradable (meaning the bacteria cannot break them down into harmless components the way it happens to the paper or wood). The worse happens when plastic ages; the sun’s light and heat break the plastic into smaller and smaller pieces. This tiny plastic confetti, along with larger pieces of floating plastic, creates a dangerous problem to our health and our planet .
In 1957, the first Breitling Superocean models were launched, and it was clearly a major new player in the diver’s watch market. While Breitling is usually associated with aviation, the dive watches are among the bestsellers that extend a legacy of more than six decades.
Trends come and go, but a great watch never goes out of style. Breitlingwatches are the very definition of an investment piece. Once you meet your perfect match you’ll wear it every day, making it the ultimate investment piece.
With a history spanning over 100 years – Breitling has established a global reputation for high-precision timepieces, its pioneering role in the development of the wrist chronograph, and its uncompromising commitment to design excellence, made in Switzerland.
Despite in today’s modern world, smartphone has become our daily time-teller, and the omnipresence of synchronized, digital devices suggests that the wristwatch is no longer a necessity. Personally, I still find a well-designed watch never looks outdated. In fact, some of the best can last an entire lifetime and even be passed from one generation to the next.
My first relationship with watches was fuelled by a classic silver timepiece combined with stainless steel with white dial, gifted by my parents for my sixteenth birthday. That timepiece became a part of me, and I loved wearing it everyday. So my love affair with timepieces can be considered very sacred, and by getting older, you realize that time is very precious. Almost all luxury watches can be described as wearable art, because most of them have a interesting history attached. Continue Reading…
Celebration is the right term to describe Schlumberger. Since I moved to Vienna, Schlumberger was the sparkling drink we popped of bottles in every party and celebration we had. The first thing you should know about Schlumberger is, that the Austrian Sparkling became prized beverage of the Viennese elite society. Every year, Schlumberger sparkling can be found at the world’s most beautiful and elegant ball – the Vienna Opera Ball. Continue Reading…
For the 25th Life Ball anniversary and its homage to the musical film “The Sound of Music”, this year’s Life Ball had a breathtaking stage in red-white-red placed in front of the City Hall of Vienna, designed with oversized alpine meadows and mountains of Salzburg, as well as details inspired by Edelweiss and traditional costumes. We are getting closer to the 2nd of June, and I still cannot believe that I will attend for the first time the most important European AIDS-charity event of the year, the Life Ball. Moreover why this makes me even more excited is, because I will present L’OR as “taste ambassador” and will wear a gorgeous tailored gown by Eva Poleschinski. L’OR started this exclusive design cooperation just for this year’s Life Ball.
