Since decades Vienna is known for its tradition of the elegant occasions celebrated in a uniquely romantic flair. Nowhere are balls so romantically formal as in Vienna and this tradition continues since decades. Glamorous floor length dresses are a must for these kind of special events and if you love dancing, you must choose the right ball gown. Honored to represent this year’s one of the most special events – I am so looking forward to the Golden Masquerade Ball, which will take place at Hilton Vienna Plaza on 2nd of February 2018.
Nothing beats Vienna’s ball season, and I am so happy that it’s that time of the year again. Vienna has over 400 balls staged each winter, frequented visited by thousands of dance-enthusiasts from all around the world. The reason for the addiction to the ball events amongst the Viennese can be found back in the 18th century, when the wearing of masks and costumes was reserved for the nobility, on private occasions. It’s all about music, dancing, getting the dress codes right, expressing the prestige, class and high premium quality of a ball combined with the casual flair of a sophisticated party. Highlights of the Golden Masquerade Ball are: flying dinner served as a three-course meal, Golden Twenties sounds from Live Band “Flo’s Jazz Casino” & “The Voice” with the singer Sara De Blue, Sara Köll & DJ. Book your ticket here and come to celebrate the Golden Masquerade Ball with me on the 2nd of February.
The best part of attending a ball is about dressing up. I teamed up with Peek & Cloppenburg and choose four favorite dresses. This beautiful red-satin dress, is pieced together from asymmetric panels of fabric, and has asymmetric bottom cut so easy walking onto the red carpet or dance floor. Completed the look with a pair of statement earrings and metallic sandals.

For the second look, I am wearing another gown from Peek & Cloppenburg. I found this perfect ball gown in black at Kärntner Str. 29, 1010 Vienna store, where you can find thousands of other gorgeous ball gowns. The embellished details makes this dress look even more elegant, paired with satin embellished pumps and statement earrings.

For the third look, I choose one of my favorite winter fabric – VELVET. As well as being a huge trend for the season, this long dress made by plush deep red velvet, has full-length sleeves and pleated on the right side – reminiscent of ’80s/’90s styles. It’s elegant and comfortable to wear, still it offers complete coverage without feeling stuffy or overly formal. Complementing the deep-red shade with gold jewelry and suede black pumps, looks perfect for festive parties and events like the Masquerade Ball.

Dazzling with something a little different for the forth look – this dress is emboldened by pretty metallic pleats, delicate chain straps. It also works with a waist-cinching belt to create one show-stopper of a party style. I let the dress to take centre-stage with simple accessories and simple black stilettos.
