MARRAKESH

HOTEL REVIEW: MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MARRAKECH

By Posted on 3min read42 views

After seven years, I finally could visit my favourite city in North Africa again. The red-clay walls, mosaic floors and wall decorations, fountains, bougainvillea all over, aromatic olive and orange trees, this place for sure is a surreal travel back in time in modern days and always worth coming back.

Thanks to Mandarin Oriental Marrakech, I could also convince my friends Maria and Tony to join me on this trip, and guess what? They loved it.

For one week Marrakesh, we decided to stay in two hotels so the second hotel was La Mamounia, the luxury five star hotel spa in the heart of Marrakesh. After our stay at Royal Mansour where we had our private Riad, La Mamounia was a complete different experience.

ROYAL MANSOUR | LUXURY HOTEL MARRAKECH

Royal Mansour is a magical place sequestered within high and red-clay walls. Footpaths zigzag around fountains, lily ponds open suddenly into sun-washed expanses of bougainvillea, aromatic olive and lemon trees.

Marrakesh has always been on my must-visit places list, this September my wish came true. I have always been a fan of Moroccan architecture and Moroccan food, however visiting one of the most stunning luxury hotels in the world, was a great introduction into Marrakesh luxury lifestyle.
