Need a bedroom makeover to create a beautiful and serene room— just like in a five-starhotel bedroom? Here are my tips on how to make your bedroom as fancy as a hotel room.
Luxury hotel bedrooms are mostly minimally decorated, with a neutral color scheme, have crisp white sheets and small décor details— all of these details play a crucial role in creating a calming space—something that gives vacation vibes. The reality is, our bedrooms at home don’t feel as calm as hotel rooms, but if you follow these few steps—chances are that you won’t want to leave your bedroom anymore.
What happens when you stay in a dreamy tropical island villa? You take tons of pictures, and will never finish posting. Many of you were struggling to load all pictures from Soneva Fushi blogpost. So today I decided to post a ‘Photo Journal’ with pictures of our villa.
In the heart of Moscow’s historic city center, Leyla Uluhanli, of Leyla Uluhanli Interiors, designed her own apartment in wonderful neutral shades and a minimal retro-chic style. Even though the apartment is more than 270 square metres large with four-metre ceilings (13 feet), the aparment still had a little sources of natural light. So, Leyla Uluhanli had to come up with a new floor plan and mirrors.
Recently the international art consultancy and gallery network of art consultants, advisors and curators VELVENOIR collaborated with steininger.designers for ART X INTERIOR, an exclusive event at Steininger’s showroom in Vienna that presents the best experience on contemporary art and design and brought art lovers, designers, architects, art collectors together to experience a unique presentation.
The installation entailed a curated selection of fine art paintings, photography, exclusive kitchen and sculptures. I am happy to announce my collaboration with VELVENOIR that implements the highest quality of service and providing unique artwork to build and elevate a beautiful space.
Take the keyword from the fashion world and give the timeless chic of black and white into your home. The monochrome look can range from minimalist chic to wild animal prints.
This is not the first time, I blog about minimal and monochrome interior decoration, and it won’t be the last. A black-and-white themed room always has more impact when you add a third accent color, whether this is grey, yellow, gold or aqua blue. For example you can also add definition to an off-white scheme by using black as an accent color — incorporate a luxe black velvet sofa or grey armchair to your room design.
In collaboration with Mömax I choose black-white-and-grey decoration for a living-room space. Whether on their own or together, these contrasting colors make always a bold statement
Some call it cold, gloomy, and boring—I call it home. This time my decorating mantra was “less is more.” A minimal living room is obviously where the journey starts. With the right lighting or even a pop of accent color or trim, the area or decor piece is instantly turned into the showstopper that turns heads and becomes a conversation-starter. With minimal rooms often sticking to just one or two neutral tones, the background becomes a perfect canvas on which you can highlight any object of your liking. In fact, you can even change these accents seasonally to keep up with the hottest trends.
For this project I had to choose one space at Mömax, which was already decorated but I took all decoration out and changed the look. I had only one hour time to choose all decoration pieces and to decorate the space.
This classic color combination makes any room — from bathrooms to bedrooms — sophisticated, chic, and timeless. From horizontal stripes to graphic pillows or any other decoration pieces, here I want to share my favorite black-white-and-grey decorating ideas.
