As you may have seen on my Instagram stories, last week I was in Paris with Julia for few days and we finally got the change to visit Musée Rodin.
Certainly museums such as the Louvre or the Musée d’Orsay are among the largest and most impressive museums in Paris. They are listed in every top 10 list of Parisian museums, but smaller Parisian museums deserve attention too, just like the impressive Rodin Museum.
A perfect and sophisticated tropical minimalism: clean lines, wooden water villas and all white beach front pool area overlooking the 50-shades-of-blue Indian ocean. The ultimate dream honeymoon destination.
New week, new hotel review from the Maldives. Right after we checked out from Soneva Fushi, first we flew to Malé International Airpot (MLE) in order to take the seaplane transfer to COMO Maalifushi.
On our arrival to MLE, we were greeted by the friendly COMO Maalifushi staff with welcome drinks and snacks. While waiting at the relaxing COMO Maalifushi lounge for the seaplane transfer, a staff member took care of our check-in. After a spectacular 60-minute seaplane flight from Malé, we arrived to the resorts Jetty Arrival and the view over COMO Maalifushi was already surreal.
Mesmerizing beauty, laid-back luxury, rustic brilliance, superlative privacy and a slow life attitude: Soneva Fushi makes all your luxury eco-resort dreams come true.
Last week I’ve visited Maldives for the first time, and Soneva Fushi – made all my luxury eco-resort dreams come true. For me luxury means time, peace, emotion and freedom. Luxury is about feeling the sand on your feet surrounded by beauty and extreme tranquility, dine under the moonlight with the ocean breeze. Luxury is about connecting with nature and to reconnect with yourself. Swimming in clear turquoise water, and to eat organic fresh food. All these luxuries can be found at Soneva Fushi, where you can experience the real lush eco-resort in a rare tropical paradise hideaway.
It’s that time of the year when I’d rather stay inside and have a cosy afternoon reading books, than going outside when it’s cold and raining. There is nothing better than cosying up with a warm blanket, a good book, nice scented candles, and a cup of tea – just as lovely as fall is. I am starting this season with my favorite picks for fall which inspired me, and I believe that you’ll also find something interesting on the book list I am sharing with you:
As much as I love to talk about fashion and cosmetic industry, there is nothing more I care about than our planet we live in. We need to protect the ocean that gives us the oxygen to breathe, that regulates the climate and brings us clean water to drink. There is ONLY one ocean that covers our planet we live in.
A 2014 study estimated that 8 million metric tons of plastic trashenter the sea from land every year. 90% of the plastic is not recycled and this creates a major problem. Why? Because plastics are synthetic chemicals that should not exist in our planet. Most plastics are not biodegradable (meaning the bacteria cannot break them down into harmless components the way it happens to the paper or wood). The worse happens when plastic ages; the sun’s light and heat break the plastic into smaller and smaller pieces. This tiny plastic confetti, along with larger pieces of floating plastic, creates a dangerous problem to our health and our planet .
The Yucatán Peninsula is more than a white-sand-beach exotic destination. This area has so much to offer, such as the unique and vibrant city Mérida. When I planned to visit Mexico, I definitely wanted to make a short trip to Mérida, which is the capital and largest city in Yucatan state in Mexico. Though it’s called “The White City” (named after its limestone buildings), Mérida has the kindest people, eye-catching colonial architecture, a unique heritage, charming museums, art galleries, great traditional Mexican food and many more.
One more adventure checked off my “Bucket List”. For me travelling rhymes with happiness and exploring new destinations makes my heart beat faster. That’s why my travel posts are special to me, because I love sharing my experience with you.
I am starting this year with a long waited travel blogpost that I’ve announced on Instagram in October, and I can’t believe how time has gone by so quickly. For a very long time I have dreamt of going to Mexico, stretching out on a white sandy beach, eating guacamole and tacos all day long. Indeed, it was the first time I have visited Mexico and now I am very excited to tell you everything about this trip.
