The colder and the darker it gets, it’s time to cozy up and stay inside for soul food, tea and good books. I feel like I’m slowly counting the days to have some relaxing holidays soon, since this year was so crazy busy. I can’t wait to read new books and just do nothing else. Here is my personal list of pre & post-holiday reading and to say Goodbye to 2022 with books.

WHAT TO READ: ANTI-RACISM BOOKS TO EDUCATE YOURSELF

After weeks of overwhelming emotions, I am using my platforms like Instagram as well as my blog to raise awareness, and continue to fight against racism as well as police violence.

As the #BlackLivesMatter trend is slowly vanishing on social media, now it’s time for everyone to understand, that changes won’t happen overnight. Supporting a cause is not about one week of attending protests and sharing content. It’s about continuously spreading awareness against discrimination, fight for human rights, educate ourselves, and our children.

BOOKS I READ DURING SELF-QUARANTINE

Staying at home is never boring when you know how to spend your time wisely. Not only cooking, creating photography content, or painting gave me pleasure, but books felt like vacation during these strange times. These books aren’t to be confused with beach reads— although if the beaches will be open this summer, then you can read them at seaside while sunbathing.

These books are about love, life, family, psychology, loss, finding yourself and success.

While past two months were good months of reading with lot of new inspiring books, here are the five books I would suggest you to read now:

Just in time for the holiday season, I want to share my top five favorite books to read this month:
