Royal Mansour is a magical place sequestered within high and red-clay walls. Footpaths zigzag around fountains and lily ponds and open suddenly into sun-washed expanses of bougainvillea and aromatic olive and lemon trees.
Marrakesh has always been on my must-visit places list, this September my wish came true. I have always been a fan of Moroccan architecture and Moroccan food, however visiting one of the most stunning luxury hotels in the world, was a great introduction into Marrakesh luxury lifestyle.
Royal Mansour was founded by His Royal Highness King Mohamed VI of Morocco to showcase the best of Moroccan artistry and hospitality, built over three years by 1,200 master craftsmen. It’s a breathtaking showpiece of Moroccan decorative art, starting with the 2.5-ton etched bronze doors that open upon your arrival. Then there’s the entrance courtyard’s intricate mosaic of zellige tilework, the hand-carved marble moucharabieh screen behind the reception desk and that’s before you enter your room—or rather rooms.
Each of the 53 individual three-story Riads comprises a mini courtyard; a beautifully decorated living room, a dreamy bedroom with silk-covered walls, hand-painted arched doorways, and generous MarocMaroc bath amenities, as well a private rooftop terrace with a fireplace and heated plunge pool. The whole space is private, where a gracious staff, that is a genie-like butler who appears silently through the Riad’s kitchen service entry. The staff travel unseen though an underground tunnel system. Even though the Djemaa el Fna square is in 5 min walking distance, there is much to keep you inside this incredible oasis, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a magnificent SPA, and two superb restaurants, La Grande Table Marocaine and La Grande Table Française (both overseen by chef Yannick Alléno from Paris’s Le Meurice), as well as the indoor-outdoor La Table, which serves a formally presented breakfast and lunch—by white-gloved staff.
Dinner at La Grande Table Marocaine was a wonderful experience, with sublime Moroccan flavors that were served in a sophisticated, refined and sumptuous ambiance, combined traditional dishes with a modern twist. We also had the opportunity to experience the splendid Royal Mansour Marrakech SPA, which is a true paradise and promises to stimulate the senses, encourage relaxation and offers a unique, unforgettable spa experience. An impressive indoor swimming pool in its own orangery-style glazed pavilion completes the ground floor, whilst the lower floor is an area dedicated to a gym and an impressive range of state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
Staying five days at Royal Mansour‘s Riad, made my dreams come true that will linger in my memory for a long time. This place is so magical that I’ve found myself in it. From palm trees to perfumed plants, the gardens at Royal Mansour are like an earthly paradise. Here I collected lot of pictures from many areas, so that you can see why Royal Mansour is so magical.

Royal Mansour offers an alliance of infinity of space and perspective to the warmest privacy.
“Luis Vallejo is the hotel’s landscape designer, and he describes the gardens at the Royal Mansour as a modern interpretation of the Andalusia concept by referring to the Hispano-Arabic gardens supremacy. The gardens represent the agricultural continuity of the Marrakech environment, linking the garden to its history and to the ‘Andalusia’ heritage in the form of an orchard.”

The most breathtaking SPA I have ever seen.
The hammam is the undeniable star of the Royal Mansour Marrakech Spa and is our signature treatment. A hammam is a traditional cleansing and beauty ritual.
“The tranquil morning banishes the shadows of night, casting its new light on the freshly washed marble, the golden fruits of the orange trees, rose bushes and mounds of mint.”
