It’s Christmas Day and I hope you are enjoying the last days of 2018 with your loved ones and having a wonderful time. Following yesterday’s post, I want to share the whole look today. The only cover-up you need this season is a wonderful soft coat. Whether it’s faux fur, shearling or felt, this season’s cold weather shouldn’t give any excuse for letting your sartorial standards slip away. Wearing the seasons favorite TERRACOTTA palette, I can’t get enough of chocolate brown tones. This color is softer than black, and it’s just so sweet.
A great coat is definitely the cornerstone of every stylish woman’s wardrobe. Layer it over knit separates, knit dress, sweater, as well as with the belt to define your frame.

There was a time when hats were the ultimate accessory for the wealthy, and there was a time when ladies wore hats everywhere in the public. In those times head dressing reflected social status, and were decorated with jewels, embroidery, feather accents, floral applications and tulle, which were worn on different kind of events. But in the 70’s the wide brimmed (-floppy) hats were associated with boho or hippie style. Later in the 80’s hats fell completely out of style, unless they were needed for sun protection and were totally uncool accessory to wear.
If there is any accessory I love eternally, hats are definitely one of them. As a collector of hats, I have been obsessing over wide-brim wool felt hats for a decade now. Depending what you wear, hats give you coolness and elegance, as well as they add more personality to each outfit. Some feel daunted to wear hats, but don’t be intimidated by this piece just because it has personality – it’s actually a great way to add more style to any low-key looks.
All of the elements from the eras of fashion, many designers have re-emerged the wide-brim hats today, amongst them Ariadne’s Couture Millinerycreates the best couture hats for everyone’s taste. I found her on Instagram this year, and I knew immediately that it will click between us. She was so kind and made two wonderful couture summer hats, which I wore very often this summer. And now that we are in winter and following the F/W’18 color trend, I wanted to have a wide-brim felt hat in chocolate brown. So here I am presenting this masterpiece, which is definitely the best wide-brim felt hat that I ever had. Click here to buy Ariadne’s Couture Millinery unique hats.

We are exactly 25 days away from the first day of 2019, so I’m getting ready to set my goals for the new year and of course, planing the New Year’s Eve – which starts with picking the perfect outfit. I’ll go for sequins and velvet, because it’s all about the glam factor! Probably the favorite combination to wear this holiday season, comes as no surprise that it’s my favorite time of the year. Whether you want to shine bright like a diamond, look party perfect or perfectly polished, you can never go wrong with sequins and velvet. Continue Reading…

Those who know me well, know about my forever jewelry obsession. I really have a weakness for jewelry – especially for statement earrings. Whether they are 10€ earrings from a no brand or a beautiful investment from a designer, each and every piece I own are special for me. Statement earring is the one piece of jewelry that has the power to give even to the most casual outfit a hint of glamour. Abstract and unique shapes with metals and over-the-top pearl drop earrings are my favorites this year. Whether you like pearls, monochromatic diamonds, colorful gems, or crystals, here I summed up a collection for every style and occasion. Continue Reading…
When it comes to your off-duty wardrobe, the simplest styling ideas are usually the best, which is why a monochrome white-on-white suit – suits the best. The trick is to know how you can wear this two piece suit with other pieces too. Bold structure, such as a sharply tailored blazer with flared pants, as well as with different unusual texture combinations, like silk, knit sweater, even sequins will ensure this combination.
Combine it with a subtle color
Wearing colors that are complementary can work on occasion, but are a bit trickier. It’s safer to wear subtle colors and to create balance.
It’s that time of year again, when dressing after-dark is so much fun. For some there is almost every night an event, either it’s a work Christmas dinner party, or meeting friends and family on the weekend. Holiday Season calls for not one but two or more new outfits, like one for Friday night’s Holiday office party, and on Saturday festive evening with your friends and family. Continue Reading…
