While spring fashion is officially underway, there are plenty of new styles in different spring hues to try now. It’s around this time of the year when I start to bring out all of my favorite spring clothes and add some more pieces that can be combined easily. The goal is to get dressed up quickly in the morning and to be as effortless as possible. Therefore we need pieces that can be worn without thinking too much. As far as accessories are concerned, keep it simple.

A TRAVEL GUIDE TO MÉRIDA, MEXICO

February 3, 2019

The Yucatán Peninsula is more than a white-sand-beach exotic destination. This area has so much to offer, such as the unique and vibrant city Mérida. When I planned to visit Mexico, I definitely wanted to make a short trip to Mérida, which is the capital and largest city in Yucatan state in Mexico. Though it’s called “The White City” (named after its limestone buildings), Mérida has the kindest people, eye-catching colonial architecture, a unique heritage, charming museums, art galleries, great traditional Mexican food and many more.

WHAT TO WEAR IN MÉRIDA, MEXICO

February 2, 2019

Tomorrow you’ll finally read a new travel guide about the cultural capital of the Yucatán, Mérida. This city has a rich colonial history, with old narrow streets, broad plazas, impressive museums and it’s a great place to explore. I have a comprehensive list of places, where to eat and what to see, which I will share with you tomorrow on the blog. But first let’s talk about what to wear in Mérida?
What I saw, people do “dress up” especially in the evening. However, to dress up for brunch or dinner, I brought lot of pastel and colorful dresses, combined with colorful jewelry, flat shoes and a pair of wedges for the evening. As well as some nice color co-ordinated swimsuits for the pool, and vacation accessories such as hats and sunglasses.

January 6, 2019

In the heart of Moscow’s historic city center, Leyla Uluhanli, of Leyla Uluhanli Interiors, designed her own apartment in wonderful neutral shades and a minimal retro-chic style. Even though the apartment is more than 270 square metres large with four-metre ceilings (13 feet), the aparment still had a little sources of natural light. So, Leyla Uluhanli had to come up with a new floor plan and mirrors.

January 2, 2019

I am starting this year with a long waited travel blogpost that I’ve announced on Instagram in October, and I can’t believe how time has gone by so quickly. For a very long time I have dreamt of going to Mexico, stretching out on a white sandy beach, eating guacamole and tacos all day long. Indeed, it was the first time I have visited Mexico and now I am very excited to tell you everything about this trip.
