If the second lockdown might have ruined our plans for this season, but it can never stop us wearing makeup. Even though I haven’t been wearing so much makeup this year, just continuously taking care of myself during this time has been a major mood lifting for me.
When it comes about makeup— I don’t follow trends, instead I try to improve my makeup skills and discover what looks best on me. I just love wearing red lips, natural eye makeup, or bright eyeliners, a lot of shimmery eyeshadow combined with nude lips.
Here are the 4 makeup looks I’ve been wearing this year:
1. MAKEUP-NO MAKEUP LOOK
The older I get, the more I love my skin and my features. It took me a long way to appreciate my own skin, but now I feel blessed for each and every pore I have. Therefore I love the makeup no makeup look by just wearing a tinted SPF, concealer, mascara, lipgloss/lip balm, blush on my cheeks and my eyes. Here are my top favorite products I use to nail the makeup, no makeup look:
2. NATURAL LOOKING EYEBROWS
I am glad that the over-tweezed and blocky brow trend is over, and now we are back to natural-looking eyebrows. For those who are not blessed to have fluffy eyebrows, just like me, we still can brush the eyebrows up and fill them lightly in with a good eyebrow pencil.
3. DEWY MAKEUP LOOK
Who doesn’t want to look like you had plenty of sleep and have glowing skin from within? For sure everybody. Here are some easy steps how you can achieve this look: first, start with clean skin, wear a moisturizer and sunscreen, lay the foundation, set the foundation with a loose powder all over the face, build upon your dewy skin by adding color on the cheeks, eyes, and lips. Finish it with your favorite mascara.
4. SMUDGED & SMOKED OUT EYES
This one is my favorite eye makeup look for the evening. To create this look, you only need to smudge, smoke-out the eyeliner. Here are the favorite products to create this look:
