DC EDITORIAL: LA VIE EN ROSE

I am ready to celebrate la vie en rose this spring/summer. Three weeks ago, I wrote about spring trends, so pink – particularly of the fuchsia variety – flooded the catwalk at shows such as Celine, Valentino, Balenciaga etc. Whether you choose to layer lots of different hues over your separates, or color block by wearing coats over statement dresses, you won’t go wrong as long as it’s pink, pink, pink.
I choose to wear dark blue wide trousers to compliment fuchsia and pink pieces, but my favorite pink piece of this outfit are my new orchidee HÖGL shoes. The pearl accessory complements the feminine shape of elegant silk look and make them real eye-catchers.

I think that pink is a misunderstood color, because it often gets equated with being overly girly and somehow uncool, but in my opinion, it all depends on styling, and there is certainly a way to wear pink in a very fashionable way. The spring summer fashion trends for 2017 have already be decided, so why not get ahead of the game and start investing in joyful colors like fuchsia and pink? As we know, pink is the ultimate energetic color and dare to wear in the evening as well and let it give you a super jolie energy.
