DC INTERIORS: Inside L'Wren Scott Chic Parisienne Apartment .:.

L’Wren Scott opens the doors to VOGUE and shows off the aerie she shares with Mick Jagger—a space she designed to her own exacting tastes.

Her home in Paris, turn-of-the-century Left Bank apartment is just one of the homes the ultradiscreet American fashion designer L’Wren Scott has put together for life with her rock-’n’-roll legend of a partner, Mick Jagger. And the serene, delicately airy atmosphere is about as far from glitzy rock-star louche as could be imagined—evidence of Scott’s razor-eyed talent for combining iconic mid-twentieth-century furniture, antique treasures, and souvenirs of family life. I love VOGUE's celebrity home pictures, it's so inspiring to see how well-known personalities live and how they interior tastes are. Enjoy the pictures by François Halard below!

A collection of antique mirrors shares space on the mantel with one young Jagger’s artful painting of his sibling. “That’s Georgia by Gabriel,” Scott says. “Isn’t it great?

A pair of feathered masquerade masks among stacks of fashion monographs in the library.

Custom Christophe Delcourt table and gray lacquered chairs command the dining room.

The master bathroom was designed around original Art Deco Lalique elements, including a plaque above the tub depicting leaping koi.

A jewelry box and other treasures in the bathroom.

Andy Warhol’s portrait of a young Mick Jagger hangs in the study.

A curved sofa in cream bouclé wool from the 1940s, found in a shop on Rue de Lille, imbues the drawing room with soft, pale undertones; the other end pairs Damien Hirst’s spots with a medieval wooden.

The entrance hall features Warhol’s Mao print (1972) and a Persian lacquered vase found at a Paris flea market. A L’Wren Scott bag in coral crocodile sits on a Tristan Auer bench that Scott covered in her own.

A guest bedroom includes richly hued curtains and a painting by Francesco Clemente.
