Style is knowing who you are, how to combine old with new pieces and still look like you came straight out of a fashion magazine. I discovered my love for vintage clothing when I was in Paris in 2005. While I was walking down the Rue des Tournelles, at the 3rd arrondissement of Paris – accidentally I walked into a lovely vintage boutique. They had a range of high-end brands from Chanel to Pucci, Chloe to McQueen etc.
What makes us want to travel and explore the world? Of course, the cultural differences we encounter. Being able to understand the humans from their cultural standpoint of where they come from and what they believe, as well as where those beliefs come from. Therefore I want to talk about the World Museum or Weltmuseum Wien (former Museum of Ethnology) in Vienna, which is the largest anthropological museum in Austria build in 1876. Located in the Hofburg Imperial Palace, WMW has a comprehensive ethnographical and archaeological objects from Asia, Africa, Oceania, and America. Since November 2014 the museum was closed due to renovation and was reopened on the 25th of October 2017.
Ethnological museums are witnesses to the cultural diversity and changes of our human societies. – WMW
Changing your makeup can be a new year’s resolution and the easiest strategy for breaking out of a beauty rut, that has nothing to do with the words diet, detox or workout time. Today, I am taking you inside the Museum of fine Arts in Vienna, which is one of the most important European museum buildings opened in 1891. The magnificent architecture creates a fitting setting for the artistic treasures assembled by the Habsburgs, amongst the most breathtaking in the world. The collections range from Ancient Egyptian and Greek and Roman Antiquities to Medieval Art and the splendid Renaissance and Baroque. So the museum is divided into eight different collections, some of which are housed in the Hofburg and in Schönbrunn Palace.
Today, I want to share my laser hair removal experience I am having at Dr. Chichakli‘s clinic in Vienna, because it has quite literally changed my life. Body hair is an incredibly personal but also unavoidably political topic, since its presence is natural and its removal is tied to socially reinforced beauty ideals. I respect everyone’s opinion and everyone should choose itself either shun hair removal, shave or wax or pay for laser hair treatments. Since a teenager I am the biggest enemy of body hair, so this treatment is by far the best decision I ever made.
Last but not least, today I want to tell you everything about Bali and my personal favorite places where to stay, eat, shop as well as what to see and do in this beautiful tropical paradise. Some say this island is overrated, a paradise that has lost its way and getting dirtier every year. But really it has just devopleped transforming from a low-key hippie haven to a enormous soulful place, where you can stay smart but still find a barefoot vibe.

Hiding deep between the Dachstein mountains, approximately one hour far from Salzburg, with its lakeside views and charming old buildings make Hallstatt one of the most charming villages in Europe. There must have been fairytales born from this spot and so perfect, that China made an exact replica of the village to serve as high-end housing. When I heard about this fact I had to laugh, because they can really go too far doing replicas! *giggles*
Since decades Vienna is known for its tradition of the elegant occasions celebrated in a uniquely romantic flair. Nowhere are balls so romantically formal as in Vienna and this tradition continues since decades. Glamorous floor length dresses are a must for these kind of special events and if you love dancing, you must choose the right ball gown. Honored to represent this year’s one of the most special events – I am so looking forward to the Golden Masquerade Ball, which will take place at Hilton Vienna Plaza on 2nd of February 2018.
